Weekend Results

The firsts got the day started off away to an always very strong LXG side out by place Meiser.
It was a very good game between two very diametrically opposed footballing sides. Even if we were probably the best of the two teams we came away with a draw even if we should have had a penalty in the first half. It’s only fair to note the fantastic performance from the referee and the fair play that LXG players showed. Final score 0-0.

Our seconds seem to be in a bit of a rut at the moment after their unbelievable start to the season. They lost 0-2 away to New Arquois. What they have achieved so far in 2nd division is outstanding though. Their team spirit is really a model of team sports. Let’s hope their hard work pays off towards the end of the season and they get back ASAP to their winning ways.

Turds won 0-7 (seven) away to technically gifted Deaf Brussels. Goals by Sergiu and Marius Hagi (2 apiece), Pierre, Piet and Bruno made for a comfortable Saturday afternoon. It looks as if it’s going to be hard to stop François’ side this year as they are still top of the league of course. Come on you TURDS!

The fourths had a crucial bottom of the table battle away to Biergeois and the least that can be said is that they got the job done. They won 3-4 in a what turned out to be a bit of a rollercoaster game #Bierges. Up 0-3 at half time, they let there opposition get back into the game at 2-3 but then hit 5th gear again to bring 3 vital points back to the Funky from Walibi.

The last game today for our mens side was Vets 1 who again in a crucial match brought back 3 precious points from S.C.Campomaiorense. We don’t have much information at this moment in time as they are all probably half pissed in the bar and drinking Triple Karmeliets . But we do know that they won 0-3, hopefully they can keep up the good work and secure first division Vets football for next season.

Ladies 1 played last night and won comfortably against Saint Michel 5-0. Their push for the title is as strong as ever, let's hope they can keep the good form up keep on winning.
They face off in a historic cup semi-final next Saturday in Auderghem, no doubt that this result will boost their confidence for what will be a special moment for our FC Irlande Ladies!

Ladies 2 unfortunately lost in the last match this weekend with the legendary FCI green shirts 4-0.

Come on you Girls and Boys in green!
