The Fry Group – A safe pair of hands!

The best goals are the ones built up from defence.  Starting with a safe pair of hands  - FC Irlande is blessed with many of those as the PoY awards proved.  Next is a focused, carefully plotted strategy, supported by the skill and know-how needed to get the ball in the back of the net.

The Fry Group (Belgium) is a safe pair of hands when it comes to addressing your financial planning strategies to help you achieve your goals.

From savings and pension plans to designing a portfolio tailored to your needs and risk profile and saving you tax every step of the way.

Club legend Ian McConnell celebrates his 70th birthday at Nossegem Sticky

Pride of place at this  weekend's games was the welcome to Club legend Ian McConnell who came out to Nossegem to celebrate his 70th Birthdaqy. Joined by family and friends it was a great day out for Ian with many old team mates coming along to celebrate .

Some photos are on our Facebook Page

1sts had a tough battle against old foes Coin du Balai and ended up drawing the game 0-0. It could have gone either way with both sides having chances to win the game, Still we are joint top of the league after 3 games with 7 points.

2nds hit their 3rd win in a row with an emphatic victorhy by 2 - 0. Karl G  set the ball rolling with a neat chip over the keeper to make it 1 0. Benoit added the second and we were never in danger. MOM Euan. Top of the league . Keep it up boys !!

3rds had a great victory by 8 - 3.  Youssef 3, Ionut 3, Villu and Sergiu. Good team performance just lacked a bit of bite in defence to stop their first two at least. Their keeper was a bit dodgy too to say the least and their full backs allowed us plenty space to set up the goals, very kind of them!

4ths also won by 4 0. No more info

The 2 Vets teams again failed to get a result going down in 2 tight games. Vets 1 had equalised less than 10 minutes from time through Ben but at the death the opposition sneaked a winner. Vets 2 had taken the lead when Damo got on the end of a great free kick by Bart, Watermael equalised and then took the lead, They scored again in the second half to put them 3 1 ahead and althoigh Jacob pulled one back we couldnt find an equaliser and went dowm 3-2.

Ladies 1 lose their 1st game in P! (Friday night 16/9) Sticky

Ladies I lost against Wolfsdonk tonight. The opponents had two freekicks and scored two goals. Despite a few very good occasions we never got a goal. Very physical game with 3 yellow cards for them and at least the same for us. A few injuries but nothing too severe.

We will come back stronger

More great results with 1sts and 2nds on top of their leagues after 2 games W/E (10/9/2016) Sticky

1sts continued their strong start to the season with another victory. Despite being down to 10 men after just 2 minutes when Andrea was shown red for a challenge the boys proved their mettle when they comfortably saw off a good LTC side. Goals Ross,Nair and Karim MOM Ross

2nds also gained their second voctory when they triumphed 2 1 away to St Georges. Goals John S and Abdel (Penalty)

3rds got back to winning ways with a good 4 1 victory against Cosmos, Goals Ionut (2) Sergiu and Youssef

4ths managed a 1 1 draw to consolidate their good start to the season. Goal Thomas

The 2 Vets teams didn't have a great day at the office. Vets1s cause was not helped when keeper Karl had to drop out before the game. Vets 1 lost 4 1 with our only goal coming from John O. Vets 2 fared no better losing 2 1 to Chenois despite going ahead with a rare goal from Ex Pres Denis O'S. It was tough in the heat and the opposition got on top creating several chances but they found keeper Laurent in top form and it was he who kept the score respectable as we lost 2 1  MOM Laurent '

Ladies 1 led1-0 at half time through Ariane  against Sparta Lombeek and went on to secure their first win in P1 by 2-1 with Virg adding the 2nd. Congratulations Ladies !!

Ladies 2 played in the late kick off and went down 1-3 Melodie scoring the only goal

Football's back with some good results to savour (03/09/2016) Sticky

1sts got off to a great start beating MTM 4 0. Strong performance from the whole team. Goals Ross (2) Nick S and Cillian. MOM Ross. 2nds also made a great start beating their opposition 4 1 after a dominant 1st half display. Goals: Mike x2, Neil and Thomas. MOTM Robbie
3rds didn't have the best of starts going down 2 0 in their away fixture. No more news. 4ths had a great win by 3 0. Goals from Costi (2) and Manuel. MOM Costi. Well done to Pierre and the boys as they try to get back in Division 4 next season.
Both Vets 1 and Vets 2 suffered narrow losses in their first games .
Ladies 1 played their first game in Brabant Provincial 1 and were involved in a very tough game. It was 2-2 half time with goals from Virg and Isa. The 2nd half started disastrously when we conceded 2 bad goals in the first 10 minutes to go 4 2 down. . However we fought back . Mariana even saved a penalty and we recovered to get a draw 4-4. Goals:from Colleen (68 min, assist Ariane on a freekick), Aurelie (77min, no assists). Well fought from beginning to end! Happy team
