Weekend results and bye bye Darragh!

October 27, 2018 4:53 pm

Mixed bad for FC Irlande this weekend.

Ladies one keep struggling in Division 2 with a 0-8 loss to traditionally very good Eva’s Tienen. Division 2 is proving to be a massive test, we just need to keep our heads up and use this as experience.

Ladies 2 were bye this weekend.

Firsts were up against Jefke, which is always a huge test. They came out disappointed of a great game with a 2-2 draw. It could have gone either way but the locals equalised on the 70th minute.
This was a big test for our firsts who’ve not been consistent enough to get more points on the board.

Today also marks our fabulous goalkeeper Darragh’s last game for FCI, the club, committee and players wish him all the best, it was amazing to have such an asset in our club for all these years.

Seconds played out in Mechelen against British United on accordingly to the locals the best pitch in Abssa. Yeah!
The weather was nice and the parking was easily accessible. Nothing much else to report. Final score 0-0.

Our turds lost 2-1 away to a very good Hermes. We were one nil down after minute one. The badly dealt hand against a good side proved too much for us.

The 4ths drew 0-0 against British United. Still top of the league though which is amazing.

No news from our veterans unfortunately yet.
