FC Irlande returned to winning ways on Saturday with a convincing 6–2 victory over Entente Jeunesse Fléron, a newly promoted side in Interprovincial C.
The tone was set immediately as we opened the scoring in the very first minute. Just five minutes later, we doubled our lead, confirming our strong start. The first half was fully under control: we dictated the tempo, kept possession, and limited Fléron to only a handful of chances. At halftime, the scoreline already reflected our dominance: 4–0.
The second half, however, told a different story. We became more disorganized, leaving too much space in midfield. Fléron took advantage of this and pushed higher, eventually scoring two excellent goals—one of them a superb free kick that was unstoppable despite a great effort from our goalkeeper.
Despite this period under pressure, we regained our composure and added two more goals, closing out the match with a 6–2 win.
This match will be remembered for several milestones: the first goals for Giorgia and Clémence in the team’s colors, and Sacha’s first (but not last) hat-trick.
