Last Saturday, Ladies 2 played against Wavre, a team that isn’t an easy opponent. The first ladies’ team of Royal Wavre-Limal quickly took advantage and scored two goals before halftime. FCI fought well, had a couple of opportunities, and managed to score during the second half, just after Wavre, who led to the final score of 3-1. Wavre is now five points ahead of FCI, who will try to earn more points against White Star in the last game of the season on Saturday, April 27th.
Last weekend Ladies ll went up against a strong outfit, Wavre. The first half started well for Irland. Good combinaisons between the players who led to a goal scored by Gillian Bartlett after 10 minutes. Irland continued playing quickly with good possession but unfortunately Wavre had a penalty just before the half time, who was taken by they captain who scored. Second half was more complicated, with a lot of pressure from both team. The game ended 1-1.
