Ettekijs 2

Fourths faced a strong Ettekijs 2 team today in Watermael-Boitsfort. Despite the recent setbacks, we played well in the first half in a very intense and physical game. Just minutes before half time, we were awarded a penalty after a nice run from Viktor. Unfortunately Karim didn’t use this big chance to take the lead, as the goalkeeper saved his attempt.
A few minutes into the second half, Ettekijs took the lead after a free kick into the box, and doubled it a few minutes later with another header. Fourths did not give up, but couldn’t create dangerous situations and conceded two more goals on the counter.
An overall improved performance, but a lot of work ahead to get out of the relegation zone.
