J-st. Gilloise

Vets1 were bolstered by Sigve, Sylvain & Hadrian in their relegation 6 pointer against J St Gilloise. Despite the help we had a bare 12 with Mathias having to leave just before HT. Started well & dominated the play, good play down the right, Sigve finished. He added 2 more in the first half, one from 35 plus yards having seen the keeper off his line & we got a 4th through Hadrian just before HT. 2nd half we dominated, had a goal disallowed & had numerous other chances before Sigve got his 4th just before the end after a nice 1-2 with Stepan. 5-0 result to make it 3 wins in a row & move out of the relegation places. Sigve got motm.

Match in Barca for vets 1 versus Jeunesse Saint Gilloise… A team of our level for have some points… A very closed match during all time, Irish lads have several occasions in first part, saint Gilles have several occasion and scored on corner… We push more but can’t put any balls… Pity to lost 3 points today versus a direct opponent… Motm Tibor
