Tauro FC 2

The 3rds went into their 4th game of the season with a lot of confidence due to their 3 wins in a row.

Playing in a proper stadium as well, we had all the makings of a great afternoon.

Despite this the game started with their team on top and creating the best chances, after some miscommunication at the back Ale made one of the most incredible double saves ever, with max topping it off with a goal line clearance

After that chance tho, we got into our normal game and after another brilliant double save from their keeper this time, Sepp slotted it into the back of net

The 3rds were a bit thrown off their game, when the ref decided that michael and wilf were to annoying so he sent them off for an early shower

The second half started worst then the first with the opposition tying the game after a nice effort from outside the box. Things got even worse after, with them taking the lead after the most obvious offside in abssa history not being called and our players losing focus

Nevertheless, this goals served as a wake up call and ireland started playing some proper football and creating chances.

The turning point of the match came when michael played a great ball into sepp and like always he put it away with class

After this the thirds grew in confidence and after a corner, sepp put a great ball in and Syl gave us the lead

To finish up michael played another great ball to theo who scored the last goal to make it 4-2

A very hard game with another very physical team, but great resilience from everyone after their second goal to come back and win the game

Big thanks to Ale for making some brilliant saves and helping us out

MOM- Sepp (13 votes 😮)

Also big shout out to nico’s brownies for fuelling the team after the game and helping convice the ref to remove the red cards from the match report
